Meet Justin Knoll.

I was born and raised in Denver, in a family of Realtors and business owners. Way before it was “cool” to be from Denver. Back then, the Mile High City didn’t yet have light-rail, LoDo, Highlands Ranch or a Convention Center, and our airport was in the heart of what is now Stapleton. Neighborhoods like RiNo, LoHi and the Highlands were just called the “North-side” and the Broncos and Nuggets were the only games in town.

As the son of a single Mom/Realtor, I answered phone calls from curious buyers and joined her on showings and listings appointments, waiting patiently in the car wishing I was old enough to drive. My great grandfather started selling and renting homes in the 50’s when deals were written on napkins and secured with a hand shake. My Grandmother, a CO pioneer, joined him shortly thereafter and gave the business a more professional approach, focused on running a successful business and not just making a few bucks. This would be the foundation for the family real estate business that has been a fixture in the Metro area for over 60 years.

For over 20 years I have spent my time in one capacity or another: selling, managing, recruiting, leading companies, merging large associations, and my favorite “job” - coaching. By nature, I gravitate to being a coach, as I get to see the outsider’s perspective to an issue, and find ways around roadblocks. I thrive on helping others find a way to reach their goals in ways they didn’t know existed.

Whether it’s helping a young ball player find his swing after hours of practice and frustration, or a sales person that stares down their fears of rejection to gain the trust of a client, coaching is in my blood. It is what fuels my soul and gets me out of bed every morning.

No two people are alike, nor are their challenges, which is part of the thrill of coaching. As a strategist, I take a personal approach that doesn’t just tackle their business issues, but also addresses the connection to their personal life. There is a balance between the two and it is rare that you can perform at your highest level without having both in alignment.

While I may not sell many homes myself these days, I am beyond lucky to have some of the best Realtors in the market, and my favorite people in the world, on The Knoll Team. My wife Piper, is a top producing Realtor, and a genius of systems and service. My mother Pam, is a top Realtor for 45 years and brilliant thinker, and our two buyers Agents Julie Thenell and Richie Averill round out the best team in town. As a team, we have taken our business to new heights and raised the bar in the industry nationally.

During rare occasions when we are not working, Piper and I spend time down the third base side of Coors Field, where we have season tickets to the Rockies. It is such a special place to us that we decided to get married on home plate there! Piper has two amazing daughters that keep us busy with activities and fun, and family is never far away as well. I have amazing parents, five of the best siblings and 12 nieces and nephews, who are all as close as we can be. It truly is a charmed life worthy of giving it my all!
